Evoking the forces of the underworld
Oberto Airaudi calls Damanhur ’The City of Light’ but nothing could be further from the truth.
Ask yourselves why the Temple of Humankind is built underground and not high on a hill somewhere to embrace the celestial sunlight.
According to Airaudi, the Temple needs to be underground to connect with the Synchronic Lines that flow through Valchiusella. He says that these Lines are the nervous system of our planet and can be used to influence events all over the world.
But why is energetic contact with the depths of the Earth so important to him and his esoteric school? Why are so many Damanhurian rituals directed towards the forces of the underworld and not towards the forces of light?
Are we really talking about a ‘spiritual’ community or something else? Something occult perhaps, something elusive and undeclared, something that has never seen the light of day?
Why all the secrecy? What is really going on in the darkness of the Temple, in those halls that most Damanhurians never get to see?

For all those who still do not believe that black magic is practiced in Damanhur.
It is Christmas day 2006. While the world celebrates the rebirth of the light in many different ways, Damanhurians are busy evoking the Forces of the Underworld.

Operation carried out on Monday during the School of Meditation evening
Monday 25th of December, during the Meditation School evening, the group of five people who had been given the knowledge of the kind of force to be evoked (for each person a different force), began to call upon the forces of the underworld. The members of the group assisted and helped one another because the operation required a certain degree of commitment and the protection of the territory.
The first evocation was carried out by S.N.

I have found your site whilst browsing for information on damanhur. Its not that I don’t think your basically right on a lot of things about damanhur but I came on this article early on and it displays a notable ignorance of magical practices (for someone who has supposedly been involved with a magical society) – especially the part questioning why temples should be underground, why invoking for the ‘underworld’ and whether this is ‘occult’. To be honest this sounds like the words of someone who has (or had) a ‘white light’ sentimental new age belief system- or someone who has gone back to the orthodox church. The underworld symbolises the organic depths of the earth, the ‘subconscious’ mind which regulates our vital procceses, the roots of the tree- the source of nourishment, gaia:- the roots and the earth are not evil. This is the viewpoint the Christian church has repeatedly got ensnared in. A spirituality that wants to deny this part of our being in the interests of being ‘holier than thou’ will end up being sentimental and impotent like a plant that is cut off from its roots.
And ‘occult’ means simply ‘hidden’, as you imply. Einstein’s theory of special relativity is ‘occult’ in that the inner depths of its meaning are hidden to most of us. It doesn not mean it is evil. Maybe Damanhur does play up to a trivialised new age view of magic- this post would certainly suggest so. Other posts on here also smack of someone who is essentially committed to a rationalist enlightenment worldview but who got lured into a half-baked magical philosophy for a time and is now recoiling. Just be careful you don’t throw the baby out with the perenial bathwater- it so often happens.

I can assure you that contributors of this site are in no way naive about magical practices or currently participate in any orthodox church.
The Gnostic myth of the Light of Sophia – as a connection to the essence of Planet Earth existed long before any New Agers or Christians came up with the idea.
We as human beings are creatures of light. If we live totally in the dark we wither and die.
The Theurgic red magic practiced in Damanhur is aimed at controlling all the divine entities of this planet. Damanhurian magicians learn to evoke the dark and hidden forces of the underworld and not those of Gaia which nourish human beings.
How do I know? I will give you an example.
To evoke the power of certain forces of the Earth in Damanhurian ritual magic and make a pact with them you are required to ‘pay’ for their presence with beats of your heart. The demon then nourishes itself on your life force. Making a mistake – according to Falco – could be fatal.
Do not under estimate Damanhur’s magic agenda.
This site does not focus on such practices because very few people are familiar with Theurgic magic and readers might well conclude that our contributors are all insane and ‘throw the baby out with the bath water’.
I can assure you we are not are not suffering from ‘notable ignorance’ …we have simply chosen the path of discretion in such matters.

To my knowledge the leader does not indulge in sexual practices with children. He waits until the girls who grow up in the Community are 18 before he approaches them and he is usually only interested in those who have made a commitment to citizenship. They can be controlled better… I have no knowledge of his activities outside the Community.

Thank you for this information. I have a question.
What exactly is meant by “controlling all the divine entities of this planet.” What is meant by divine entities? I have just attended a lecture by David Icke. I have followed his themes a long time. Each time, some more dots are connected. The world is an illusion (matrix/hologram)for control by entities that lie just outside our range of perception. These entities are reptilian and represented in cultures everywhere as-dragon, snake,….Horus, the falcon…the falcon was pictured in the lecture. Horus was mentioned. Horus-reptilian controlled. When you see these symbols like eagle you know that behind them is the same control. It feeds off human fear. This is in Zulu culture etc. Now you write that people pay for the presence of these entities with heart beats. It looks like the same thing. It is in Africa too and underground. However it is not possible for these low vibrational beings to control anything divine as divine vibrations are out of their range. They need low fear vibrations. Damanhur is no different in principle from the wider society. Thank you for laying bare what only you could do.

The divine entities ..refers to all the gods ever worshiped by human civilizations. In other words all the energy and thought forms directed towards human gods. That is a whole heap of energy. The Damanhur Triad Operation apparently merged all that energy into one force called HORUS. There are in fact three aspects of the Triad but Damanhurians are only aware of one. The other two are hidden and used to control demonic forces. This is not really a suitable subject for discussion in an Internet forum as it requires a comprehensive knowledge of Theurgic magic…
As David Icke would surely confirm …once you start talking about these matters everyone tends to write you off as mad…
This is a site dedicated to informing the public about the dangers of contact with Damanhur and I would not wish to jeopardize that.

By the way, I posted your site on one internet group here. There was little response. This group goes from this country to visit Damanhur soon. Another group here gathered to listen to a lecture on our experience in Damanhur. I left without a word. It was not possible to spoil their dream. People do not want to know. Damanhur followed by David Icke was my journey. We are infinite consciousness. Never ever give away the kingdom inside for control by any outside force.I care not if people “write me off” as mad.DI has a genius for presenting the “mad” in a scientific way.
Tell me something if you can be so kind, what is the significance of “spiritual people” whereby you have to give your place, date of birth and photo plus 10 euros?

The ‘Spiritual People’ in Damanhur is a way of linking people who live abroad with the energetic frequency of Damanhur. It is a special club for people who want to feel ‘connected’ to Damanhur. The annual 10 euros goes towards admin costs for member’s newsletters etc. Damanhur uses the Spiritual People to promote itself, advertize its projects and fund raise around the world.
But …Damanhurians armed with your name, place of birth and photo as a testimony… believe that they can influence the events in your life for good or worse…through ritual magic.
Can they really?

I have posted your website in a few places. There was little response. I understand it. I was the same before going to damanhur. I had no idea at all. But my radar was working well when I got there. It actually was a good experience. No more looking outside at all. Never give up your self to control by another. By the way David Icke is a true person. You do not want to be written off as mad. But this is important information. Horus is also the name used by the head of the illuminati. Are you still afraid of what others think? If you look ar Arizona Wild she is a brave woman who suffered alot and she is not afraid to speak the truth. Is it so important to you what others think of you? Why do you fear?

It is not a matter of being ‘afraid’ in the normal sense of the word.
This site aims to reach as many people as possible…offering a balanced and well documented view of the reality known as Damanhur. Some aspects of that reality are particularly difficult to get your head around without an extensive knowledge of esoteric tradition. We know from bitter experience that once these topics are openly discussed, those without the necessary background tend to dismiss it all as silly superstition. They write off the authors as crazy fools who will believe anything.
David Icke also suffers from this problem.
We do not wish to lose readers over an issue of credibility.
The magical aspects are important to those who have already succumbed to the indignities of the Damanhurian regime but here we are trying to inform people before they become part of it.
Unfortunately, once they are inside …there is little hope of reaching them.

I live in a small village in the Czech Republic, very tolerant but a little bit crazy. My village has something to offer and that is not take everything so seriously. Dear DIO I dont know where to post general comments. On national news today there was reported a police investigation into a sect that operates from here. At least it is being reported and also investigated. The thing about the village is that like villages in India, Africa people do not think about yesterday or tomorrow. The solution to the madness of the “world” is to live in the present as Eckharte Tolle shows. So I dont how valuable it is to expose the injustices and win court cases..

There are many ways of exposing the abuses perpetrated by destructive groups. Legal actions offer an official and neutral platform for bringing information out into the open. For former members of destructive groups a court action may be the only hope of justice.

I must say that I love the Damanhur community and I feel an incredible kinship with them, they are incredible beings, very warm and loving. The Temples are beyond magnificent and you can feel the palpable presence of Cosmic forces, forces that are so “home”. I could barely contain myself as I walked through the Halls – which houses hundreds of stained glass art altars to every Deity – every being you can imagine that is sanctified in the human heart on this planet. It is a truly a tribute to Spiritual Unity.

Unfortunately the Temple at Damanhur is not dedicated to cosmic forces or humanity as its publicity would suggest…It is dedicated to Horus…(not the Egyptian version) a new minestrone of energies put together by Airaudi and his magic consort in 27 years of theurgic ritual. The Temple is dedicated to Satanic (Saturnian forces) which prey on the innocent. There will be no ascension in Damanhur. Initiates have pledged their souls to the Triadic god Horus which incorporates hundreds of malevolent energies. The sad part is they don’t even know it.

Unkulunkulu is included as an african deity in the temples. The guide told us it was from central Africa. Unkulunkulu is Zulu, from Southern Africa and not exactly deity.

Intreasting stuff..i am a yoga teacher and plan to stay in damahur for 3 mtns new life project. I plan in the future to set up a small community where we accept each others differences and look after and support each other as best as we can. I am researching communities having experience living in a findhorn foundation one in hebrides. visited ecocommunities in wales and devon too. i would have to go there and i would be able to see if some of these things are occuring unless they are well hidden! I am waiting to see as i had a couple mails from them saying end sept would be good.

Damanhur will provide you with all the material you need to understand how a community can turn into an unchallenged totalitarian regime when it masquerades as a ‘spiritual reality’. Learn from Damanhur’s mistakes. Do not stay longer than three months and do not give them any money! You will not see the darker aspects until they have pulled you in. Then it will be too late because you will blindly accept them!

About the Energy thing that’st going on in the Tempel of Humankind…something popped into my mind…all the symthoms u described here that ppl get if they go into the Temple are typical signs of non-leathel Weapons ect…
What if the goverment and the Intelligence Agencies are using this community for Mindcontroll experiments with rays? The community is also called a “laboratory of Humankind.”?
So I mean this says it all? Who wants to become a lab rat of some hidden agenda? About the magic stuff going on there everybody who has “eyes” can see that they are possesed by dark forces…using the left hand path with sexmagick and bloodrituals in there. The ppl in there do not look healthy to me the same as in scientology.

A very recent interview with David Icke in Germany refers to the gnostics, the demiurge and sophia, It agrees with what all you say. anyone here actually has a relative/friend/partner who got lured to damanhur?
I am asking because my (now ex-) girlfriend went there.. She left a month ago, attracted by the marvelous promises on their website.
She wanted to get away for a while from traditional society. In the beginning I supported her, even thought about going myself at a later time.
But as the day to leave for italy came closer I started do try and learn more about damanhur and I did not like what I learned.
First trigger was in a document they sent her, in which they damanded a negative hiv-test, later on I discovered DIO
Since she has been there I have not heard a lot of her anymore. In the beginning she felt disorientated, alone and even talked about leving (this was in her 1st week). Later on she started to get defensive about damanhur and then lost contact.
Until a week ago. She let me know that she would be unreachable for several days (could not tell me for how long) as she was going on a trip.
She didn’t use this name, but I figured she was talking about the viaggio..
Friends tell me to have faith in her judgement and common sense as she is a grown woman and that it is HER path, and if I am right she needs to find out for herself.
For now I tell them I agree and I am really trying not to worry.
But the thruth is that I AM worried.
Or is it all not as bad as I am imagining?

Yes, it is as bad, if not worse than you imagine. Unfortunately there is little you can do. The mind conditioning techniques used in Damanhur are very effective and people ‘disappear’ psychologically inside for years. It takes quite an important life event to shake people out of it. Try to keep in contact with your friend…reminders of the ‘real’ world are an important way of helping Damanhurians to realise that the world they are living is just a fantasy. It is an experience that brutally colors the rest of your life. You cannot rescue her…she has to do that for herself.

Thank yo for you reply. Meanwhile I did accept the fact that there is very little I can do, but trying to keep in touch. As to be expected she ignored most of my mail and the few response I got was with a lot of critisism on ‘the outside world’ and the fact that I am part of that.
And as for timing: just yesterday I got a call from her, Wanted me to visit her there, as her ‘new life’ period of 3 months ends next week. And I know she’s out of money, so she needs funding to be able to stay longer.

Sitting here in Costa Rica , my comments ,seeking places of power not unique to human beings that’s what we have been doing for many past civilisation , we may find and create the enhancers/technology but what we fail to establish FIRST within us is the wisdom to manifest/create from this place of higher conscious.
The gift of this earth realm has been perfectly designed to teach us the wisdom way , yet we’re tempted by always trying to find the short cuts to our true potential.
For me yesterday I watched a nest of baby green back turtles digging themselves out of the sand where they were born and struggling down to the ocean.
Each little turtle was gifted with the inner map of how to get back to the same beach 25 years later hence the carrying on the great circle of life . We to are also programmed with a similar knowing if we choose to remember / listen and follow the true inner teacher/friend.
